What is the currency in Saipan?
Saipan operates on the US Dollar (USD), but foreign money can easily be exchanged at one of the many banks on island.
Will my dive instructors or guides speak my language?
If you speak English, Japanese, Chamorro, Carolinian, or Chuukese (Trukese), we have you covered. If not, we can make arrangements.
What dive equipment will I need?
We provide all basic and necessary dive equipment included in the listed prices. You are more than welcome to bring your own gear and borrow only what you need.

Do I need to know how to swim before I dive?
It is HIGHLY recommended that you can perform basic swimming skills before you seek dive instruction. However, it in not unheard of to dive with limited to no swimming skills.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you are an out-of-town guest, we require at least three days (72 hours) notice of cancellation, or your deposit will not be refunded. If you are local, we require at least 24 hours notice of cancellation, or you are responsible for the full amount of the dive. We are a small company with very limited space and are able to offer our low rates because we have fantastic guests that value our time and theirs. Cancellations due to weather will be determined by Minimax staff. Safety is our very first priority, but that also means we must cancel occasionally due to inclement weather. In this circumstance, any deposit paid will be refunded in full.

What does the Open Water course require to be certified?
You need to be at least 10 years of age, have basic swimming skills, be in good health, and have a good attitude!
Do you have a bonus for frequent divers?
We do! We have a loyalty card that offers $20 off your next dive when you have collected 10 stamps (each dive is worth one stamp).
